  • TIP 50TIP 50, Addressing Suicidal Thoughts and Behaviors in Substance Abuse Treatment, won a 2010 Award of Excellence in the category of Education and Training Brochures, Manuals, and Reports. The award is given by the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence.

    Developed by CDM staff for the SAMHSA/CSAT Knowledge Application Program contract, TIP 50 is designed to assist substance abuse counselors in working with adult clients who may be suicidal, and to help clinical supervisors and administrators support the work of substance abuse counselors. The TIP can be accessed online at http://www.kap.samhsa.gov.

    APEX Award 2010The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence have been given annually for the last 22 years with contenders representing government contractors, leading corporations, advertising and marketing firms, and national publications.

  • Under CDM’s contract with SAMHSA as the National Technical Assistance Center on Chronic Homelessness, CDM and its partners contributed several articles to a special edition of the Journal of Behavioral Health Services and Research (April 2010; Volume 37, Number 2) that focused on the Collaborative Initiative to Help End Chronic Homelessness.

  • CDM was awarded the GSA 760 3 Editorial, Publishing, and Library Media Services. Under this GSA vehicle, CDM can provide professional support services in the publishing of print and electronically published media and communication documents, books, research studies, and general manuscript preparation but excluding any advertising, marketing or public relations materials.
  • CDM, as part of a Joint Venture with James Bell Associates (The CDM/JBA Joint Venture), has been awarded the Department of Education Streamlined Acquisition Tool. As a result of this award, CDM is able to provide the U.S. Department of Education with support for services and products under Pool B: Research and Assessment Design, Data Collection and Analysis.
